CULTURE MAKING COLLECTIVE

What is Culture Making Collective?

I. Display. A person or group from the Artisan community begins by shining a spotlight on an aspect of arts/culture deemed to be worth keeping . It may be a particular artist, writer, brand, painting, filmmaker, company, poet, musician, marketing campaign, NPO. Anything, really.

II. Discuss. Believing that some of the best learning happens in community (as a ‘collective’, if you will), we will be led into dialogue as to ways in which this cultivation might happen.

III. Do. We will conclude our evening by identifying some sort of practical task that will further enable this form of culture making to take place. It could be that an idea for some kind of long-term project is birthed. Perhaps it’s a daily activity whereby this aspect of culture can be taken care of more intentionally.
