Pastor Nelson & Terri Boschman

Our story

In late June 2008, we moved to the Yaletown area of downtown Vancouver. Believing that God has called us to join with him in establishing a new community of faith within the city’s downtown core, in August I (Nelson) embarked on a one-year apprenticeship with Pastor Adam Wiggins at Pacific Church .

Having lived in Abbotsford for most of our married life up until now, we've adjusted relatively quickly and easily to life in the city. Our first summer in Vancouver was both full and enjoyable, with lots of time spent with family, friends old and new, walking the seawall, and getting familiar with our new surroundings. I am especially enjoying the amazing quality of the coffee on pretty much every corner!

A big part of our heart for Artisan is to seek ways to develop and nurture relationships among musicians, artists and other creative people living and working in downtown Vancouver. Our faith community will be committed to announcing the kingdom of God in imaginative ways, while at the same time creatively contributing to the greater good of the city of Vancouver.
